Product Description

It is used in conventional surfactant and polymer foaming systems; It is recommended to use in the following industries: sewage treatment, industrial cleaning, adhesives, etc.

Main Applications:
The anti-foaming efficiency of Chinese defoamer is comparable to that of FOAM BAN®1880 and is suitable for water-based systems and a variety of industrial applications.

Recommended Levels/Use:
The properties and performance of a defoamer are greatly dependent upon the specific formulation in which it is utilized and, consequently, should always be tested (possibly at different treatment levels, temperatures, and/or time intervals) to verify performance prior to use. A starting dosage level from 0.05% to 0.20%, based on the weight of the formulation, is recommended.

How to Use
China Silicone Supply Premium Defoaming Agent Matching FOAM BAN® 1880.This product is a mixture. There may be deposits or layering during shelf life, and it is normal. Before using, stir the product evenly at 30 to 60 rpm and it will not affect the performance of the product.This product can be diluted with thickening water. In the process of dilution, the speed of stirring is between 30 to 60 rpm and the time of stirring is recommended for no more than 10 minutes. Please request the company’s customer service department for the specific dilution method. The company accepts no responsibility for any loss which may be incurred by the customer as a result of incorrect usage.It is suggested that the product is added in a place where the antifoam can disperse easily. The optimum addition level should be preliminarily tested in a laboratory setting.
The optimal adding point, adding amount, adding method and dilution ratio shall be decided by the customer according to the actual situation on site.

Package and Storage
The product is available in 25kg, 200kg plastic buckets and 1000kg IBC. This product can be stored as a normal chemical, away from heat sources and direct sunlight. Don’t add acid, alkali, or salt to this product. Ensure the container is sealed after using.
If burning, put out the fire according to the extinguishing method for general petroleum products .When stored between 5 and 40℃ (41-104℉) in the original unopened containers, the product is usable 12 months from the date of manufacture.

1.Test Conditions
Test temperature: 25℃
Test medium type: standard foaming liquid (GB/T 26527-2011)
Test medium addition: 150ml
Defoamer use method: Direct addition of antifoam stock solution
Defoamer added amount: 0.2g

2.Testing method:
Take 100g of standard foaming liquid in 250ml sample bottle, heat it to the test temperature in water bath, then add the specified amount of defoamer; place the sample bottle on the vertical oscillator; set the parameters: frequency is 450rpm/min, amplitude is 30mm; respectively oscillate the plastic bottle for different time; After each oscillation stop, record the time t' of' the foam disappeared to see most of the liquid surface, and the foam volume after the shaking of the blank standard solution was recorded as V.

3.Elimination and suppression rate calculation method
The ratio of the foam volume V formed by vertically oscillating the blank foaming liquid to the
defoaming time t' of each oscillation after the addition of the antifoaming agent. The data of vertical oscillation for 1 min is recorded as the defoaming rate, and the data of vertical oscillation for 5 min is the foam suppression rate.
